The Honor 9X will be the company’s first mobile with a retractable camera. Now the Chinese multinational has confirmed that it will also be released in Europe. Although more details will have to be expected until IFA 2019.
Honor has confirmed to the company will give more details about the upcoming launch of the Honor 9X in Europe. On Friday, September 6 in its participation in this year’s IFA edition.
That means that the new 9X range will also arrive in Europe in the coming months. This news comes after the 9X and 9X Pro were announced in China on July 23 for 1,399 renminbis (€ 182) and 2,199 renminbis (€ 287) respectively.
This new mid-range mobile is the successor of the Honor 8X and will be the first model of the company to have a retractable front camera. Thus, your screen will have virtually no bevel and will have an impressive 92% screen-to-surface ratio.
The 9X and the 9X Pro will have different memory and space capabilities. The 9X can be purchased with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of space. While the Pro will have up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of space.
Nor will they share the configuration of the rear camera. The Pro model will have a triple camera. Which means it will have an extra ultra-wide 8 MP lens in addition to the 48 MP and 2 MP lenses of the 9X. They will have a 16 MP selfie camera.
On the other hand, both will include the same 7 nm Kirin 810 processor and the same 6.59-inch Full-HD + LCD. They will also have the same 4000 mAH battery, side fingerprint sensors. A USB C port and a 3.5 mm jack port.
New additions to the Honor family will be available in several colors. While the Honor 9X can be purchased in black, blue and red, the Honor 9X Pro will only come in black or lilac.
