The definitive list of tips, tricks and useful suggestions to get the most out of Harry Potter: Magicians come together

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is finally available for download worldwide, after a period of beta testing in New Zealand and Australia. Amateurs and fans can now download the game on iOS and Android and explore the world of wizards and witches, dispelling confusing elements, making potions and facing the Fortresses with your fellow wizards and mages.

But although Pokémon GO was relatively simple, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is a bit more complicated. If you feel something lost or lost playing, you have nothing to worry about.

We have been able to play practically since the game went on sale, so we can share with you the tricks that we have been learning while practicing.

In this article, we offer you the best Harry Potter tips: Wizards Unite to be able to stand out as nobody in the exciting world of wizards and witches.

1. Change your options

When you first enter the world of wizards Unite, you will be asked to make a decision not only about your favorite house but also about your magic wand, your title and much more.

This may seem overwhelming to some and some players, but do not worry; these options can be changed freely at any time.

Something similar happens with the professions, which are unlocked in level 6. You can change your profession at any time, which allows players to adapt to the mystical enemies with which you find yourself in the Fortresses. Just make sure you change it before you start the battle.

2. Complete daily tasks

In the lower right part of the application, you will find a specific section for ‘Daily Assignments’. A simple touch will take you to the list of tasks that, as the name suggests, are updated daily. These tasks are usually quite simple, and the reward of gold, XP, and articles make it worthwhile to waste time on them.

At a minimum, it’s a good way for new players to cultivate XP, potions, and ingredients from the beginning of the game.

3. Avoid high-level confusing elements

Like the different Pokémon that you find in Pokémon GO, “Confused” are evil creatures that you will find in your travels in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Although most Confusables are not that hard to beat, you may find yourself with rare – and very powerful – Confusions – from time to time.

If you see that the bar at the top of the screen turns red, you can also save some Magic Energy and run away. You will have to raise or lower some potions to make your magic more powerful before facing these high-level enemies.

4. Improve your spell

Although books and movies make a great effort to be extremely precise with sorcery, strangely not the case with Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. During the captures and battles, you are presented with a scheme that you are supposed to draw to cast the spell.

While straight lines are complex, there are some harder spells in the offer, and while you may be tempted to go slow and draw the perfect line, you may find the end result a bit overwhelming.

Instead of plotting the perfect spell, try to cast it quickly; most likely, even with small errors, your spell is more powerful.

5. Visit posadas to obtain Spell Energy

As for the subject of sorcery, it is worth noting that each spell you cast consumes ‘Spell Energy’: think of it as Poke ball in Pokémon GO. While you can spend your hard earned money on gold and energy, we recommend that you go for a walk and visit a lot of inns.

The best part is that you can revisit an inn after five minutes, so if you’re going on a round trip you should have enough ‘Spell Energy’ to take that ‘Fortress’ you’ve been observing.

6. Level up faster with your friends

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is designed to be played with friends, and the game rewards those who do. In addition to joining your friends to face Fortresses, which we will return to next, you can complete a series of challenges with your friends to get an extra XP.

If you want to level up quickly and face the most dangerous creatures that hide in the world of magicians, it may be worth it to be accompanied by one or two friends.

7. Choose the right profession for strengths

The professions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite are very similar to the classes that are in the RPGs since each role offers several strengths and weaknesses. You can choose between an Auror (high damage), Magizoologist (tank/healer) or a Teacher (magician).

When you enter a Fortress with your friends, you will have to progress through a series of cameras and fight against powerful monsters. Teachers can handle curiosities, auroras are effective against the death eaters and other dark forces, and magizoologists do the work of magical beasts like the Erklings.

8. The roe of potion ingredients are affected by the environment

Like Pokémon GO Pokémon, the different potion ingredients not only appear in different places but also vary according to the time of day, the type of weather and the moon phase.

It is likely that there is a site created by a fan who provides information on the birth of ingredients at some point in the near future, but for now, you may want to take note of the conditions when you encounter particularly rare ingredients.

9. Accelerate the making of potions

Potions are very useful in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, be it a healing potion or a concoction that temporarily improves the power of your spells, so you’ll want to create them as often as you can.

The ability to make potions is unlocked at level 6, and you will need a variety of ingredients that are scattered all over the world.

Once you have found the desired ingredients, you can prepare your potion in the cauldron. You can speed up the process by drawing different symbols in the cauldron, and if you need a little inspiration, you can touch the information button in the corner to see the different spells that are offered. Experiment with different gestures to discover the correct combination that accelerates the process.

Once you have discovered the correct sequence, it will be displayed at the top of the screen, which will save you the trouble of having to try to memorize them all yourself. It’s not like you’re a magician or a witch, right?

10. Daily rewards for logging in

This trick is very easy to carry out: open the application once a day and you will receive an access bonus in the form of XP, items, Spell Energy and more.

These bonuses improve as your streak increases, so it’s worth doing – unless you forget it, as we do often!

Do not forget your power bank or external battery!

We recommend that you carry an external battery with you while you explore the world and dispel the confusing elements since the combination of GPS and the game will probably result in a serious loss of battery.
