We offer all the novelties brought by the new Huawei smartwatch of the Wath GT range. Watch Active is the largest, while the Elegant with its 42 mm dial will be more suitable for smaller dolls.
It was during the presentation carried out in Paris by Huawei, coinciding with the release of the new Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphone, when the brand has renewed its Watch GT range of smartwatches, with two different sizes and aesthetics to choose.
On the one hand we have the Watch GT Active model with a larger sphere of 46 mm, and on the other hand, the Watch GT Elegant model with a 42 mm sphere thinking about those users with smaller hand dolls.
Aesthetically, these new models do not differ much from the original Watch GT version that was presented last year with the Mate 20 Pro, specifically during the month of October 2018.

Versions and finishes
What Huawei has introduced is a greater variety of models and customization. Specifically, the Watch GT Elegant has two finishes with white or black spheres. The black appears with a purple nacre color when the light illuminates it. There is also a ceramic bezel surrounding the dial.
In the Active version with a smaller sphere of 42 mm, you have a 1.2-inch OLED touch screen and a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels. The 46 mm has a larger screen of 1.39 inches with a higher resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.
In the following photo, we can see the 42 mm version with the 42 mm Apple Watch. You should know that there are two different sizes, with two screens and four colors in their finishes, which you can combine with different types of straps.
Hours of autonomy
The other differentiating point between the two is the duration of the battery. While the older one can offer an estimated autonomy of two weeks between charge and charge, the battery of the smaller model stays in a week of approximate use.
The battery of the Watch GT Active model is of the same capacity as the Classic and Sport editions, so they offer an estimated duration of two weeks with typical use of activated heart rate and sleep function for at night. Also 90 minutes of exercise a week and notification of messages.
The new smartwatches can remain charged in standby mode for a period of 30 days before fully discharging their battery.
Both have similar functionality. That is, you have built-in GPS, a heart rate monitor, sleep monitoring and support for the practice of different sports. They do not have Wifi and they depend on Bluetooth to connect with the phone.
The cardiac monitoring known as TruSeen 3.0 that was already present in the previous generation, has been revised in order to improve the measurements made in real time and to be informed by notifications if you exceed a threshold.
Already in the area of sleep, TruSleep 2.0 records the quality of sleep showing the intervals that you may have been awake or restless; in order to measure the quality of your sleep, something that Fitbit has been doing with their bracelets and smartwatches.
Huawei highlighted during the presentation held in Paris that the editions Watch GT Classic and Sport Edition will have an update to activate the Triathlon mode.
